Obama Wants Limbaugh Dead!

May 11th, 2009 by Laz

I find it funny that we have a radio golf analyst (what!?) that makes a joke about Nancy Pelosi begging for forgiveness while Barack Hussein Obama laughs heartily over a joke from Wanda Sykes about Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys failing.  It’s all over the news, this guy cracking wise about Pelosi, and people are on his tail for it.  I don’t see anyone pressuring Obama to apologize?  No bias in the media?   Pffft, as if.  Anyone who says there is no media bias is either a moron or so far swung one direction or another that they must be part of the bias.

Ted Kennedy — the drunk that is

March 13th, 2009 by Laz

The Last of The Kennedy Dynasty

As soon as cancer was found, I noticed the immediate attempt at canonization of old Teddy by the main stream media. They are saying what a “great American” he is. I say, let’s get a couple things clear and not twist the facts to change the real history.

1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.

2. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops, the man can’t count to four. His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England (a step up from bootlegging liquor into the US from Canada during prohibition) , pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea, where a war was raging. No preferential treatment for him like “he” charged President Bush received.

3. Kennedy was assigned to Paris , never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Imagine a person of his “education” NEVER advancing past the rank of Private.

4. While attending law school at the University of Virginia, he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver’s license was never revoked. Coincidentally, he passed the bar exam in 1959, amazing!!!

5. In 1964, he was seriously injured in a plane crash, and hospitalized for several months. Test results done by the hospital at the time he was admitted had shown he was legally intoxicated. The results of those tests remained a “state secret” until in the 1980’s when the report was unsealed. Didn’t hear about that from the unbiased media, did we.

6. On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts .. At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur’s keys to his Oldsmobile limousine, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond.

7. He swam to shore and walked back to the party, after passing several houses and a fire station. Then two friends returned with him to the scene of the accident. According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew, that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities. Instead Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep. Kennedy called the police the next morning and by then the wreck had already been discovered. Before dying, Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car. The Kennedy family began “calling in favors”, ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family, before an autopsy could be conducted. Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne, and he didn’t call police because he was in a state of shock. It is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, and he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight. Since the accident, Kennedy’s “political enemies” have referred to him as the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick. He pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, and was given a SUSPENDED SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS. Kopechne’s family received a small payout from the Kennedy’s insurance policy, and never sued. There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy’s family paid their attorney’s bills…. a “token of friendship”?

8. Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years, but considering his longevity, his accomplishments seem scant. He authored or argued for legislation that en sured a variety of civil rights, increased the minimum wage in 1981, made access to health care easier for the indigent, and funded Meals on Wheels for fixed-income seniors and is widely held as the “standard-bearer for liberalism”. In his very first Senate roll, he was the floor manager for the bill that turned U.S. immigration policy upside down and opened the floodgate for immigrants from third world countries.

9. Since that time, he has been the prime instigator and author of every expansion of and increase in immigration, up to and including the latest attempt to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Not to mention the Pious grilling he gave the last two Supreme Court Nominees, as if he were the standard bearer for the nation in matters of right. What a pompous ass.

10. He is known around Washington as a public drunk, loud, boisterous and very disrespectful to ladies. JERK is a better description than “great American”.

Let’s not allow the spin doctors make this jerk a hero — how quickly the American public forgets what his real legacy is…and you just know it’s all BUSH’S fault!

Obama already turns on his VP

February 10th, 2009 by Laz

It seems that Joe Biden, the Vice President who is known for saying stupid stuff at all the wrong times (possibly more than Dan Quayle even), has now become a target of B. Hussein Obama now that the election is over.  Instead of defending his VP and trying to do some damage control from Biden’s drivel, he passes it off as if to say that he is an idiot, we all know it, and here is what he really meant.  Nice way to have your partners back there Hussein.

Change We Can Believe In

February 9th, 2009 by Laz

Mug shots of changeThese are actual police photos and it seems like this is all the rage in mug shots now!

OK, think about this for a second:

Have you ever seen anyone arrested wearing a Bush T-shirt (either one), or for you older folk an Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole or even Nixon shirt?

There MUST be a message here, but I can’t quite grasp it … or  maybe I am afraid to.  Anyway, I guess this is just more ‘change’ we  can believe in … :)

Michael Phelps On The Toke

February 2nd, 2009 by Laz

Michael Phelps caught toking on a bong.I predicted that it wouldn’t take long for Michael Phelps Olympic induced super stardom to go to his head, and I was hoping that he would stay the “nice guy” that he seemed to be.  I hate being right so often.  It appears that Phelps was caught at a party recently acting like a total jerk and even got his picture taken while it looks like he is toking from a bong.  Oh boy.  If that’s true and he tests positive, that will kill any Olympic plans he might have for 2012.  Ouch, that would hurt.  Wake up Mike and quit being stupid!

Stupid Tax Tricks

January 6th, 2009 by Laz

Anyone that reads much of what I have to say knows already that I despise our current tax system.  This system that punishes people for getting somewhere in life, and rewards those who choose to live off the system.  That being said, with all of the new tax cuts promised, you can bet there will be fun a creative ways that the government will get their money back.  You see, not only is the government not going to cut their income (what we pay them in taxes), but they are going to do all they can to get more.  So keep a close eye on the times, because as they are cutting taxes up front very much publicly, in order to gain the approval of the people, they’ll be find news ways to very quietly and discreetly raise taxes on the back end.

The folks at Right Wing News have a good breakdown of what I am talking about, check it out.

Rich People Don’t Pay Taxes

December 10th, 2008 by Laz

Preach it loud brotha Neal: “I’m hearing
this more and more often these days. The ever-present wealth envy has
settled (for the time being) on the idea that evil, nasty, putrid,
scummy, disgusting, horrible, noxious rich people just don’t pay taxes,
and it’s about time someone come along and make them pony up. I’ve
already read for you several emails from people complaining that they
know for an absolute fact that rich people are rich because they don’t
pay their taxes … and they know this because they know a CPA
somewhere and their CPA friend told them so.

Just a question: If
the evil rich aren’t paying their taxes, then just how is it that the
Imperial Federal Government is collecting about 40% of all income taxes
paid from the top 1% of income earners? Somebody ’splain that to me
please.”

Take a look at the article here.

Are Modern Day Charities Thinly Disguised Crooks?

December 8th, 2008 by Laz

I regularly get calls from organizations representing this charity and that asking for donations.  Now, I don’t mind donating to what I feel are worthy causes, and nowadays I usually do so directly to whatever charity I choose rather than going through one of these fund raising companies.

I am not saying that every front end to a charity is bad, but that vast majority of the ones that I have dealt with or been called by qualify as crooks and scam artists in my opinion.  Oh?  How can that be?  How can I be so cold?  I am going to explain, and you might be shocked by what you find out.

First thing, when someone calls you from one of these companies like the State Police fund, or the Fireman’s Charity League or even the one I received just tonight, the Sheriff’s Department taking donations for “Puppy Patrol” which is taking money for programs that teach kids to say no to drugs in school.  These all sound great, don’t they?  Yes they do, and that’s what they are counting on.

You see, it’s not the charities themselves that are the problem, at least not in most cases (there are some fraud charities out there, but they are rare).  No, the problem normally rests in these front end companies that do the soliciting and collection.  That problem is the amount of money, the percentage that gets passed on to the charity.  This is where it gets criminal in my opinion.

This “Puppy Patrol” charity that called me tonight, one thing I asked early in the phone call was how much actually got to the charity?  Most callers don’t like to answer that one.  In this case, it was 15% … yep, that’s it, only 15%.  For every dollar they collect from people, they keep $0.85 and give $0.15 to the charity.  OMG!!!  For every $100 they take in, they keep $85 and pass on $15, that’s it!  If they collect one million dollars ($1,000,000) in a year, they keep eight hundred fifty thousand ($850,000) and give only one hundred fifty thousand ($150,000).  Does it start to make sense now?

That’s right; these companies keep most of the money and only send bare minimums to the charity.  Now, they’ll claim that they have light bills to pay and employees to pay and more and that’s all true.  However, why can reputable charities accomplish all of this and keep only 20%?  They pass on 80% and not 15%, so what’s the big difference between these two types of companies other than one is legit and the other is run by greedy bastards that are exploiting people’s good nature for profit.

So, what’s my point in all this?  Before you give your hard earned money to some charity, make sure you ask them how much actually makes it to the charity.  If they only give 10% or 15% or something silly like that, don’t give them your money.  Instead give it to a local charity or directly to another to make sure that your entire donation goes where it should.  Personally, I don’t give to any company that passes on less than 70%, but that’s just me.
